Participation in Centurion Secured provides students and learners with professional experience of working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) and teaches valuable skills such as Network Monitoring, Reporting and Professional Communication.

No previous experience in a security position is required to participate in Centurion Secured.

Please speak with you academic advisor on how to apply for for an academic credit internship.

The Centurion Secured apprenticeship is run though a program called ActivateWork and requires enrollment in the IT Support and Security Fundamentals course. 

Work Experience - If you reach the Tier 2 Role there is a possibility that you could receive compensation.

Internship - No, you will receive academic credit.

Apprenticeship - If you complete the ActivateWork program and are selected to continue then you will be paid.
